When I photographed St. Pete’s indie fashion retailer Rosey Williams, we could think of no better place than at her shop in the Bloom Warehouse next to her sewing machine. The St Petersburg native grew up around her parent's vintage shop, and in 2011, she opened her own. She would invite vendors and friends to sell there as well, and the idea grew.

As her market expanded, she wanted to continue her vision of providing a platform for small businesses and creatives to market their wares. She developed and opened the wildly successful Indie Flea, a monthly pop-up market (usually volleying between Tampa and St. Pete) where dozens of artists, florists, food vendors, and vintage clothes sellers gather to exhibit their wares.
