This six-hour intensive seminar- which includes the use of natural and artificial light- will help students master one of the most important aspects of good photography; lighting . It will introduce the use of light modifiers including reflectors, scrims, and flash attachments. You will see how to
a Use ambient (natural) light.
a Make the best of your onboard flash
a Decide what the best type of off camera lighting is
aUnderstand what light modifiers are and how do I use them
a Get the best bang for your buck in lighting
a Take better portraits
This class is designed for people who have either taken the Photography 101 class or have a good working knowledge of their camera. This knowledge includes the use of semi automatic and manual modes and a general understanding of shutter speeds and f-stops.
This is a six-hour class which will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. We will be providing snacks in the morning, and a light lunch.
